Welcome to the site of Southangus Border Collies. This site will give you a flavour of how we care for the health and welfare of our dogs; breed our dogs; and what our aims are for all of our pups from conception onwards. Namely we breed primarily for temperament, conformation and freedom from hereditary genetic conditons. We carry out all the breed specific testing which is currently available. We spend a lot of time on early puppy development. "Early Neurological Stimulation" was introduced with the 2 litters in 2009. The have their "activity centre" in our outdoor kennel with toys, ropes to swing on, tunnels to go through, boxes and a pet carrier to hide in and the back garden to explore and play chase one another. We give each pup a lifelong commitment wherever possible. We look upon new owners as friends rather than customers. Our pups go to "forever" family homes as pets.. However they are suitable for agility, flyball and other canine activities.
